Tapes That Help A Child Learn Music
It is right to say that
when your child listens to a
karaoke tape and joins in they are actually learning
something of value about music. Furthermore, it could be
said that your child is helping their memory as well as
their reading and social skills. Karaoke tapes can also be
bought that provide an educational element, as they include
tuition in health, the environment and science. Good value

As a young child, I loved to sing along with the radio and
tape my favorite songs so I could listen to them over and
over again as though I was the star singer. My mother also
broke down a few times and purchased records that had the
words to some children songs printed on a separate sheet and
tucked inside the jacket. I would sit for hours playing the
songs over and over again so I could memorize every word.
While my family didn't have the extra income to enroll me in
private singing lessons, I did enjoy taking this experience
to tryouts for the school plays and concerts. Many times, I
had memorized these songs so closely to the record's
versions that I won a few choice parts.
You child does not need to want to be in school plays or
concerts for them to benefit from using karaoke tapes and
CDs. Learning, rehearsing and performing songs can be a
useful learning experience that can help with other
childhood and class activities such as having to do an oral
report in front of the class. This activity can be made
much easier with background music to help. Certain karaoke
tapes are interactive in that they can provide feedback
about vocal skills. Any child who is interested in
developing their vocal skills will benefit from these good
value tapes. As a matter of fact children will naturally
develop strength in their upper bodies and the muscles of
their vocal chords without these special karaoke lessons,
just by singing along.
There is just a slight difference between sing-alongs for
children and Children's Karaoke. A children's sing-along
tape or CD generally just provides back up music for songs
and then prints out the lyrics. With a sing-along tape or
CD, you usually must know how to sing the song before you
sing-along. However, with a karaoke tape or CD for
children, you don't necessarily need to first memorize the
tune in order to sing the lyrics since many options allow
you to hear the backup singers softly sing the tune. Also,
many children's karaoke DVDs and CDs not only show the
lyrics line by line but also highlight the words that should
be sung at that time in the tune. This helps children hold
notes for the right duration and follow the tune at the
right pace.
Some of the more popular karaoke music for children on
today's market comes from Disney Karaoke. Several online
