"How To Play Chord Piano In Ten Days!"

en00070_.wmf (15548 bytes)

This is the course that has helped over one-hundred thousand people learn how to play by chording. You've probably seen it written up in   magazines or newspapers.  People RAVE about it. It's a 10-day course in chording -- you learn chords, then learn how to play chords in rhythm along with the tune of most any song. It's worth a LOT more than the tuition would indicate -- many people have taken piano lessons for years yet never learned how to chord! It's for beginners and also for people who already play but don't know chords. If you don't know where to start, start here!

Here's what you'll learn in 10 days:

  • 1st Day: How to instantly recognize every note on the keyboard.

  • 2nd Day: Music symbols and what they mean. Rhythm symbols. Pitch symbols. Dynamics symbols.

  • 3rd Day: Chords and how to form them. 12 Major, 12 Minor, 12 Augmented, 12 Diminished, 6ths, 7ths, minor 7ths, etc. Chord symbols.

  • 4th Day: How to create a left-hand chording pattern in 3/4 time.

  • 5th Day: How to create a left-hand chording pattern in 4/4 time.

  • 6th Day: Adding 3rd and 6ths below the melody for a "duet" sound.

  • 7th Day: How to play arpeggios in the left hand for an "orchestra" effect.

  • 8th Day: How to add "meat" to the melody.

  • 9th Day: How to fill in all those empty spaces in the music. Runs and fillers.

  • 10th Day: How to arrange a song from start to finish. Intros and endings.

Order this course. You'll love it. That's all there is to it. So do it, and you'll be playing "chord" piano faster than you ever thought possible!

"How To Play Piano By Ear!"

hm00379_.wmf (4686 bytes)

You can learn to play piano by ear, even if you don't know one note form another right now. The art of playing the piano without written music is really just a matter of 3 steps: learning to recreate the musical "shape" of the tune of a song,  learning how to form chords,  and when and where to use them. You will learn how to "chart" a tune so you can pick it out on the keyboard, and you will learn all types of chords and how they are used in playing by ear.

You get the book plus the instructional cassette plus the great video tape PLUS 3 BONUS CHARTS!

-- The "Magic Chord Locator" to help you find each chord!

-- The "Melody Contour Chart" to aid you in recalling tunes

-- The "Chord Prediction Chart" to help you choose which chord comes next in a song

"Pop Piano Playing Simplified"

Learning to play "pop" piano consists of three inter-related steps:

  • You learn to read the melody line only (the tune) of sheet music (or a fake book);
  • You learn how to read chord signs and play chords;
  • You learn how to create a "rhythm bass" in your left hand with chords. If you thoroughly digest and learn these three steps, you can play most any popular tune ever written from the great standards to the hits of today.

"Learn 144 Basic Chords In One Hour -- Honest!"

There are only 12 major chords, 12 minor chords, 12 augmented chords, and 12 diminished chords. That makes 48. Then each one can be turned upside down (inverted) 3 times. Three times 48 is 144. These are the basic 12 dozen chords you need to know. This course will show you, in the course of one hour, how to form and play all 144 chords, and as a bonus, will also show you how you can form thousands of other chords from the basic 12 dozen. Do you think that might be of value to you as a musician?

"How To Predict Which Chord Comes Next!"

SY00060_.wmf (2746 bytes)

This course is the only course in existence (as far as we know) which shows how to predict with 80% to 90% accuracy (hey -- nobody's perfect!) the next chord to occur in any piece of music!  It's not magic -- it's just knowing some things. To be able to do this you must know "the ladder" and the "prediction chart" -- the two elements that are taught so clearly in this unique, one of a kind course. After taking this course you should be able to predict the next chord in any song with at least 80% accuracy. Think how valuable this could be to you when playing by ear or when improvising with other musicians! (We could put a price tag on this course that would bankrupt small nations, since this is the only thing of its kind in the entire world, as far as we know.)

"Chord Progressions & The Riffs & Runs That Flow Out Of Them!"

en00972_.wmf (18858 bytes)

     Here is a chord progression:

           I     VI     II      V7

It is commonly referred to as the "Blue Moon Progression", because those are the first 4 chords of the song by that name. But you can use that chord progression not only in "Blue Moon", but also in "Heart & Soul", "Polka Dots & Moonbeams", "It's the Talk of the Town", and hundreds (if not thousands) of other pop tunes. You can also use the exact same progression in the gospel song "He's Everything To Me", "I Am Not Worthy", and many others.

So if you knew the progression..I mean really knew it -- you could play countless songs, and portions of countless others!

This same chord progression also makes an excellent intro to most any song. This same chord progression also makes a great "turnaround" in dead spots in a song, as well as for use between verses. All of this from just one chord progression!

In this 6-cassette course I will teach you a DOZEN chord progressions, and you will hear me play each chord and explain each progression in detail. You will hear me make RUNS & RIFFS out of each progression -- runs & riffs you can use, no matter whether you play gospel, R & B, pop rag, jazz, or whatever. By learning a few runs & riffs which flow out of each chord progression, you will actually be practicing the "fancy stuff" you can then include in thousands & thousands of songs!

You will get six cassettes where I demonstrate & explain each chord progression in detail, and you'll also get a big book which has 96 pages of progressions and show every note of every chord progression covered in the course. You'll also get a big 2-color binder to hold it all!

If you could come to my studio and I taught you the very same material in person, it would take several months and cost  thousands of dollars. But it would be well worth it, because you would have the "ammunition" in your mental storehouse that 95% of piano players don't have!

Now you can save the thousands it would cost and take the same program at home for a tiny portion of it's true value!

"I have been a subscriber to a number of your courses over the past 5 years, and learned a lot too. Recently I subscribed to your course on " Chord Progressions, Riffs & Runs" and I want to say that you have packed more information in this course than I ever expected. Congratulations. It's a great course."

"All The Chords In The Whole Wide World"

ag00037_.gif (6684 bytes)

Have you ever wondered how many chords there are? I'm sure you know many chords, but are there lots more just waiting to be discovered?

This 2-hour video covers all the ways of forming chords. There are only so many ways of combining notes, and this video explores the almost infinite variations a piano player can use to create their own, distinctive chord sounds.

Along with the video you'll get a book that shows over one thousand chords -- everything from diminished chords to chords with sharp 9ths and flat 7ths, plus 11th and 13th chords -- and then on the video Duaneshows you how to voice the chords in various ways ("voice" means to position them on the keyboard for certain sounds) and combine certain chords for polytonality. You'll also learn about suspensions, alterations, "slash chords", tone clusters, and more. Having this video is like having a dictionary -- absolutely necessary!

In two hours you will know more about chords than even most musicians know! You'll never again wonder about chords -- the answers are both on the video so you can SEE and HEAR all the chords, as well as illustrated in picture form in the book!
