Monster Chords: Extended Piano Chords: 9ths, 11ths, 13ths

Yesterday we covered the basic 3 note chords – major, minor, diminished, augmented – and also the 4 note chords up to the octave – in other words, 6th and 7th chords.

Today we will take a look at the extended chords – 5 and 6 and 7 note chords including 9ths, 11ths and 13ths:
